The Westridge Middle School Girls Basketball program begins the first or second week of October and concludes at the beginning of December. We start our season by holding tryouts in order to teach basic skills and place players competitively on teams. The season will have 8 competitive basketball games, 4 home and 4 away. During our season, we only play the other 4 SMSD middle schools. The top competitive team (A1) will have a tournament at the end of the season to play for the district trophy. We hold a banquet to honor everyone that makes our season possible and to celebrate the hard work that was put in. Go Westridge Wildcats!

For the 2020 season she will have Coach Wright, Coach Hurla, and Coach Fisher as her assistant coaches. All have previous coaching experience in SMSD and at the middle school level. Coach Trepp has built her program up the past two years to help shape athletes to work hard on and off the court. She emphasizes team building, giving everyone in her program lasting memories and setting a strong foundation for academic and athletic success.
