Hybrid Model

As we prepare to move to Hybrid, we know there will be lots of questions and information that is needed.  We do not want to overwhelm anyone and so we will be sending out little pieces of information over the next couple of weeks in regard to starting the Hybrid model on October 26th.  Please be checking your email and this webpage so you don’t miss any important information.

The information BELOW will be specific to families whose last name begins with the letters A-Lamb.

Every week, Group A students will be attending IN PERSON at Westridge on Mondays and Tuesdays.  On Wednesdays and Thursdays, your child will be staying home to do VIRTUAL learning.  On Fridays, your child will also be staying home, but participating in remote learning.

Arrival/Dismissal

We have created a short video to describe what our Arrival/Dismissal will look like during the Hybrid Learning days.  Please take a few minutes to watch the video linked below prior to October 26th.

One-Way Hallways:

On top of masks being required at all times, we have created one-way hallways to help adhere to both social distancing guidelines and ensure the safety of all of our students and staff.  This will take some getting used to for students, but we will ensure that students get where they need to go!  Below is a map of our one-way hallways for you and your child’s reference.  We WILL be providing students with this map on their first day of school along with their schedule printed out.

Lunch:

We have had some questions on what lunch will look like, where lunch will be eaten, and safety measures being taken.  Please see the list below to answer these questions:

  • Lunch will be eaten in the cafeteria
  • We have 4 lunches to reduce the number of students in the cafeteria
    • The number of students eating lunch at one time is anywhere from 60 – 71 students
  • Students will sit 6 feet apart, facing all the same direction
  • Students will have their mask on at all times unless sitting and eating
  • When in line for lunch, students will continue to be spaced 6 feet apart with masks on
